A man will appear in court after he was caught drink-driving in Maaoupe this week.
It will be alleged that about 8pm on Tuesday, August 22, police attended a single vehicle crash on Maaoupe Road.
A 26-year-old Naracoorte man was identified as the driver of the vehicle and underwent a breath test, returning a positive reading of 0.101.
Further enquiries revealed the car was unregistered and uninsured and the driver only had a learner’s permit.
The male was reported for aggravated driving without due care, driving unregistered and uninsured, drink-driving and two counts of breaching learner’s permit conditions.
He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
