Wattle Range Council will kick off this year’s winter holiday program focused on children’s wellbeing through a range of activities that encourage physical activity and social interaction.

A few activities include visits to the Nangwarry Forestry Museum, wall climbing at Noorla Yo-long, getting up close with wildlife at Tantanoola Institute and crafting sessions at Millicent Library.

Community development manager Caroline Hill said the program aimed to entertain and promote social interaction and physical activity among children.

“We’re excited to offer such a diverse and engaging program for our community’s children this winter,” she said.

This program would run from July 8 to July 19 and is free to all young people.
