Penola will travel to Bordertown to take on the Roosters in Round 13 of Kowree Naracoorte Tatiara netball and will look to continue its recent run of form.

The Eagles enter the game off the back of two impressive wins over Naracoorte and Keith and will be eager to make it three wins on the trot.

Bordertown has had mixed results this season and is seventh on the ladder with four wins and six losses.

However, the Roosters have strung together a promising run of form lately with three wins from their last four games.

When these two sides met back in Round 4, Penola comprehensively defeated Bordertown by 30 goals in a game which was one-way traffic from start to finish.

Ash Earl was the best on court with 21 goals from 24 attempts in the goal attack position.

Since Round 4, the Eagles have lost just two games and are in dangerous form as the season reaches its final month before finals.

Penola is fifth on the ladder and could move up to fourth with a win if results go its way.

The Eagles have built strong combinations across the court and have been a force to be reckoned with when at full strength this season.

Kimberley Langley has been the main focal point in attack for the Roosters this season with 196 goals in six games.

However, Brooke Klemm and Maddy Teakle’s strong defensive partnership will make life difficult for Langley in the circle.

Up the other end of the court, the pressure will be on Alex Langley and Isabelle Sneath to limit the impact of April Possingham and Earl.

Possingham has been a standout shooter for Penola this season with 360 goals in nine games.

Earl has linked up well with Possingham in the circle and fed the ball effectively at goal attack this season.

Penola’s mid-court is now firing on all cylinders with Tara Millard, Victoria Henderson and Siobhan Adams.

The trio will look to dictate play early to ensure the Eagles can get off to a fast start, as they have done the last two weeks.

Penola enter the game as favourites and will likely come away with the victory as it looks to continue its push for back-to-back A Grade titles.
