PENOLA Bowls Club members Maria Hunter and Ken Batt headed to the Naracoorte RSL last week for the men’s and women’s Veteran Singles competition.
Hunter reached the final and faced a tough task against Heather Richards.
In the end Richards was too strong and claimed the title.
Batt faced some tough opposition and unfortunately did not reach the final.
