TANTANOOLA Netball Club has seen a few changes in the Mid South Eastern netball off-season, woith a couple of talls moving on.

Tayla Rowe has headed to Adelaide with university study, while Keryl Ousey has basketball commitments in Canada and with the Mount Gambier Pioneers in the NBL1 competition.

However, an experienced core group of players remain, including Emma Gould, Jami Walker, Kate Varcoe, Kate Bromley and Casey Walker.

Bella Poulish moves up to A Grade full time after playing both Under 17 and A Grade last year, along with the inclusion of talented goaler/mid-court player Shelby Ryan from last seasons A Reserve.

Junior Molly Cushion is expected to have some opportunity at senior level, along with the support from the A Reserve group.

Versatility is the key to Tantanoola’s roster, with mid-court options of Varcoe and Ryan, plus Jami and Casey Walker who will provide variety to court structure.

Seasoned goaler combination in Gould and Walker will look to continue leading the attack line, while he defensive growth of promising junior Poulish alongside veteran Bromley is an enticing combination.

The Tigers face a tough challenge first up as they host Robe in Round 1.
